What to expect?

A weekend to slow down. Step away from your routine and into the wide-open landscape of Lake Naivasha for three days of guided yoga, meditation, and wellness – hosted by Jimmy of Umoja Yoga.

You'll move through morning and evening sessions designed for all levels, fuel your body with healthy gourmet meals, and let nature do the rest. Between sessions, you'll take a boat ride to Crescent Island – a walking safari right on the lake – and unwind at a natural geothermal spa.

Whether you stay in a cottage on the lodge grounds or bring your own tent, this is your chance to reset – without the pressure, without the schedule, without the noise.

What to bring?

Comfortable clothes you can move in, a light jacket or layers for the evening, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and anything personal you need.

Your accommodation option, nourishing full-board as well as all yoga, meditation, the boat ride to Crescent island and entrance fee to the geothermal spa.

Can I come only for Saturday?

Yes – the Saturday Day Pass ($25) gets you the morning yoga session and brunch. No overnight stay included.

What's the difference in between cottage and camping?

Cottage guests stay in shared accommodation at Great Rift Valley Lodge with access to the lodge's facilities. Camping guests bring their own tent and gear and set up on the conservancy grounds. Both options include all meals, sessions, and activities.

What's the cancellation policy?

Can beginners join?

Absolutely, yes. The sessions are designed for all levels. Jimmy will offer variations, so whether you're just starting out or have a well-established practice, you'll find the right level of challenge.

Is this suitable for solo-travelers?

Absolutely. Most retreat guests come on their own – it's one of the best ways to meet like-minded people in a relaxed setting.

All meals from Friday dinner through Sunday brunch are included. Expect healthy, nourishing food prepared by our team on-site.
